Advance hang glider pilot
Western Soarers Hang Gliding Club
"Hang gliding is a demanding sport which requires the pilot to perform well in a wide range of temperatures, from a sweltering paddock in the height of the Australian summer to sub-zero temperatures at altitudes of up to 10,000 ft and all in a relatively short time span. Hanging beneath the wing in the open also subjects the pilot to considerable wind chill.
I have found i-merino tops excellent for keeping me comfortable even during the most demanding cross-country flying. It breathes and wicks sweat while I'm on the ground waiting to launch and provides excellent insulation when I'm up high.
It's also rugged and survives the wear and tear of a hang gliding contest well. Now I wouldn't use anything else"
