Easycare

Naturally wrinkle-resistant, merino tends not attract dust, and resists stains and odors which means that a merino garment can go longer between washes, even between expeditions. i-merino fabrics have also been treated so they can be warm machine-washed and tumble-dried without shrinkage.

Anti-Wrinkle

Merino fibers retain a “memory” of their original form and return to that shape after being stretched which is why i-merino fabrics resist wrinkling. [Read more]

Anti-Static

Merino’s natural conductivity, enhanced by its ability to absorb moisture vapor, means it is very good at dissipating static electricity. This means merino is less likely to attract lint, cling uncomfortably, or generate a dangerous spark in potentially explosive environments. [Read more]

Odor Resistance

Merino fibers don’t attract bacteria, which is why i-merino garments don’t smell like garments made from other activewear fabrics, even after weeks of continuous usage. [Read more]

Stain Resistant

Merino’s anti-static properties don’t attract lint and dust, and stains are limited from penetrating by the microscopic scales on the surface of the fiber. [Read more]

Anti-Pilling

The same treatment that allows i-merino fabrics to be machine-washed and tumble dried also helps the fabric to resist pilling (the formation of small fiber balls on the surface of the garment)

Durable

The interlocking protein molecules within individual fibres give them their structure, strength and resilience;  they can be bent, flexed, and stretched in any direction 30,000 times or more without damage, making it ideal for performance activewear. [Durable]
